Hello FOC members, friends and family.
It’s that time of year again for our Labor Day Free Fishing For kids. If you are out and about please stop in and say hello and let the kids catch a fish. We are also still looking for volunteers to help out with these events.
We have had a good summer even amongst all the Covid-19 doings going on.
And as always thank you to all the members, family and friends of Friends of the Cowlitz. We appreciate each one of you for your continued support.

Hello FOC members, friends and family.
Looks like everything has been picking up and opening back up a little at a time. Fishing is still a little slow where you have to put your time in but there is a lot more people getting out and about.
So far Fish Pond Functions have not gone on as we had liked. Some have been cancelled due to the different phases but we are keeping optimistic that soon these will get to happen and reschedule if possible. We will still be looking for volunteers to help with these events. If you are interested in helping please contact the Barrier Dam Store at 360-985-2495.

Hello FOC members, friends and family.
It is exciting that fishing has opened back up with all the Covid-19 happenings. We are keeping fingers crossed that everything will gradually keep getting better. It has been a nice change to see people being able to get out and fish while keeping there social distance.
We are waiting to hear, when and if FOC will be able to start doing fish pond functions again anytime soon. If they are allowed to start again FOC will be looking for volunteers to help with these events. If you are interested in helping please contact the Barrier Dam Store at 360-985-2495.

Friends of the Cowlitz and the new boat headed over to Yakima for the Sportsmen Show February 14th thru February 16th. It was a successful trip with meeting lots of new people. It is always a pleasure being able to attend this event at the Yakima SunDome.
A big Thank you to those that were able to help get everything ready to head over, setting up and helping out while the event lasted. All your help is greatly appreciated.
The new boat is here and all set up for you to come take a look at it. We also have tickets available at the Barrier Dam store. You can also call the store and purchase at 360.985.2495. We can take debit/credit and mail your tickets to you.
Another month is gone seems like 2020 just started. Here’s to a happy and healthy year for all FOC members, friends and family!

Happy New Year Everyone! We are hoping so far it has been a great fresh start for 2020.
The new boat should be arriving soon. Keep your eye out for the pictures.

Friends of the Cowlitz Monthly Message
It looks like Fall is upon us but the weather is still looking good with more sunny days.
Friends of the Cowlitz is still working diligently and up to date on all the issues surrounding fishing, WDFW and the Cowlitz River. Members are continuously going to current meetings and speaking out for fishermen’s rights.

Looks like our summer is going to be coming to an end. Fall us upon us with temperature changing.
FOC wants to thank all the volunteers we had this year for the Free Kids Fish Pond Function over the Labor Day weekend. Good times had by all for sure and the kids were really enjoying it.
