In Memory of Don

Donald H. Glaser passed away on January 19, 2021 at his home in Salkum, WA. He was 79 years old.

Don was married for 62 years to his wife, Karen. Together, they owned and operated the Barrier Dam Campground for 32 years.

Don was the president of Friends of the Cowlitz, an organization dedicated to protecting fishing opportunities on the Cowlitz river. His memory and advocacy for fishing on the Cowlitz will remain in our hearts forever. Fishing was his life’s passion.

Don passed away peacefully with family by his side. He will be greatly missed by his wife Karen, his daughters Corrine and Julie, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, as well as his dog, Hunter.
